烤鸽子也是有名的菜,先塞麦子在鸽体内,再以炭火烧烤。另一种作法是把鸽肉和洋葱、蕃茄以及米或麦,放在陶罐里作成炖菜。还有一道叫做库夏里 (Kushari) 的菜,是用米、面、洋葱、黑扁豆及蕃茄酱做成,材料要先分开烹调,要吃时再和一起。
